Camomile can germinate in soil all year round although primarly in spring and autumn.
It starts as a small, dense rosette of fringed leaves, then produces a long stem with branches covered in the same fringed leaves.
The white and yellow daisy like flowers grow at the end of each stem, and each flower produces tens of thousands of seeds, so control BEFORE seeding is extremely important or camomile can take over large areas quite quickly.
It is not palatable to livestock.
